As i write this post, i know that some of you will not recognize or remember who i am, don't worry I  will quickly remind you. I was the annoying 8-10 year old kid with the screeching voice whom begged every day to become part of the scrim team in spearhead. Every day, I reminiscence of the time playing with some of the greatest and most kind-hearted people I've ever met. After looking at the forums, I want to reconnect with many of you. I know this may sound cheesy, but i truly do miss each of you. Through the years of playing MOHAAS, i have met some extraordinary people whom have consistently impacted my life. Presently, i am 22 years old, graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Industrial Engineering. Every once in a while i joined the TeamSpeak but rarely see anyone on. I am not writing this for attention, but merely to reconnect with some of the the old members whom i have not had the chance of talking to in a long while. I understand that many of you are a lot older and do not have as much time as you previously had. All i ask is that if you do remember me, that you would respond to this post and atleast respond with an email if you cannot join the teamspeak.

I hope you guys are all well! I've been quietly lurking around the forums from time to time as a guest (forgot my password) to check in on my oldest of friends. I figured it was probably time to make a new account seeing how the email address linked to my old account was my college one, which is most certainly deactivated. Anyhow, I more or less wanted to say hi - it's been a long, long time and I've greatly missed my original crew. Life has a funny way of pulling you back to your past and I've frequently wondered how everyone here has been doing. I have been fiendishly searching for and watching any of our old NDE/KIB tournament and scrimmage videos on youtube for some heavy doses of nostalgia.
 
I'm sure many, if not most won't recognize me, but I used to play MOH when we were KIB, and then when KIB became NDE, and NDE split back to KIB, and then back again. I started playing in the demo server with some guy named Dogger and another fella with a sultry, French-Canadian accent named Sadik. I was 12 or 13 at the time and to put that into perspective, I'm now 28 and married. I remember spending an inordinate amount of time on Malta, having bridge duels, scrimming against KMA and BTK, and having gratuitous amounts of fun. I also remember sending Dogger $20 here and there to help keep the servers going which, I sent in probably the strangest way possible: In birthday cards. I would take a blank birthday card from my mom's office desk, put a 20 in there, and send away. Why would I do this? Fear and paranoia that my parents would discover I've been sending money to some random guy because reasons. I was a weird kid. I spent more time with these guys in my angsty teenage years than anyone else. NDE were the best friends I had, and the only ones I needed.
 
I remember staying up far too late on a school night and having my bedroom invaded by my parents because my furious clicking and laughing woke them up. I have too many good memories to list here, but one that evades me is why I ever left or stopped showing up.
 
I wanted to say hi and thank you, I guess. Thanks for the memories. Thanks for the friendship. Life is bumpy, but when you can return to your past and look fondly on it, the road begins to smooth out.

Just my opinion, BUT this is a heavy subject matter that has a lot of polarizing views and has the capability to drive additional tensions.   I have my own personal opinions, but have not chosen to voice them here, as I don't think it's the appropriate place based on the context of what this site is used for, despite this being "General Discussion - Talk about Anything".

Thanks, i'm doing fine, down in Sherwood Park now outside of Edmonton staying at my brothers, far as i know my house is still standing and it might be a month or 2 months before we are aloud back to the city.
 
A question i do have for you guys, i left my power cord for my tower back in Fort Mac, i have a HX 1050 watt power supply, it says 100 - 240V - 13A - 6.5A 50Hz - 60Hz, would the power cord from my BenQ lcd monitor be good to use on the power supply? on the cord it says 18awg and 300v so i think that is more than enough? I'm not sure, i don't wanna fuck anything up lol

Played beta last night with Syn & Opti for the first time.  This game is basically TF2, but much much better.. it's going to have a long shelve life and will certainly be a big hit.  
 
If you want to try the game for free, there will be an open beta starting tomorrow 5/5, which will run through the 9th.  This is a good chance to see if you like the game before you buy it.   I bought it and so far everyone I know that's played it is planning on getting it as well. 
 
Hope you scrubs try it out. It's fun and we're going to have a lot of fun as a clan in this game.

GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!!!

I should have clarified one thing, the stuff you have equipped you don't lose, you only lose what weapons and gear you find in the Dark Zone that's sitting in your Dark Zone backpack. It's just that if they have better shit equipped, you stand no chance at killing them to get your stolen backpack back.
 
You have to get to a choppa and extract whats in your backpack, once its extracted then you can't lose it, what's in your Dark Zone backpack is not safe. Your equipped gear is safe.
 
So if you find something good, get your team to run straight to a choppa to extract before asswipes kill you and take it.

I play it on PS4, currently level 30 story mode and level 32 Dark Zone mode.
 
Enemies don't regenerate but the challenge missions (Daily Missions that give exotic loot) are very hard and take time because you need to be careful on how you proceed or you die easy, the better weapons and gear you get the easier it is to kill them.
 
PvP mode in the Dark Zone is where other players can revive their teammates, 4 people in your team, you only go PvP if your group or the other group decides to kill each other and steal all the loot from each other, its called going rogue and if they have better weapons and gear then you, then you stand no chance at getting your loot back, thats the only part of the game i hate.
 
That being said, i have ok gear and weapons right now, a couple of exotic pieces and i am losing interest in the grinding to get better gear (you grind in the dark zone to get the best stuff) but if you love a game that requires alot of grinding to get the best weapons & gear then you will love this game, its basically Destiny if you've played that.
 
This is not a FPS game, yes you shoot guns and kill people, but its all about the long hours of grinding to get the best weapons and gear, and believe me it takes alot of hours.

The bullet sponge thing is odd at first, but its not all that different from CS:Go, plus it ends up being more of a challenge.  I'm not sure about the enemies regenerating health... I haven't seen that happen since i've been playing.   You also get better, and different kinds of weapons as you level up, so its not all just spray and pray/Run n Gun, there's some strategy with the loadouts you set up.  Snipers and rifles are deadly, especially if its a headshot. 
 
Move or Die sounds more like your type of game
