so is this JP exclusive or can I post?

what's the BSOD you get? 0x00000A or something like that, usually a 0x six-seven zero's followed by 1-2 letters/numbers (8 bit hex number)

F8 for Advanced Options, do you select Start Windows Normally or do you select Last Known Good Configuration?

Interesting you have the same processor as me,

Next time you get on, ctrl+alt+delete and tell us how many processes you have going.

As for the error, yea next time you get it, list the error code, it will more or less tell you what's wrong.

As for your computer, I would suggest either uppgrade (It's actually quite cheap now, because of all the deals going on) or take your chances and overclock like I did to mine, went from 2.2ghz to 2.6 and im finally at 3.1.

If you want I can walk you through the overclocking process.

Also, no quarter but you can have some pizza when I order it later.

I just went through all that lag and it was horrible. Turned out it was a spyware virus that executed itself everytime I restarted my pc. Spybot, adaware would delete the files but not the main one. Then I ran avg it found the main one and now no more lag.

mmmm pizzaaaaaaaaaaa Canadian Bacon!!!!

Some various programs to try for anti-virus/spyware/malware/etc

Trend Micro House Call (online scan)

Panda ActiveScan 2.0 (online scan)

Super AntiSpyware

AVG AntiVirus (just be careful of what you delete)

Avast AntiVirus

Spybot S&D

MalwareBytes Anti Malware

F-Secure Blacklight (rootkit remover)

I've used all but one on a single laptop before just clean it up.
