I don't think it's a PSU problem either. Try running a memory test - http://www.memtest86.com/ Maybe try and reset the BIOS to load defaults and clear CMOS. Maybe try different drivers. More memory might help.

Exactly what does the error say? What graphics card is it? What is the the make and watts of the PSU?
