Flawless
So, yesterday night, my computer blue-screened, don't know why but it did. Made me mad so I decided, it's time to (at least find and) buy a new computer. Called my computer-illiterate mom today about it, and she freaked out that a comp. I needed would be at least a thousand dollars. (She's a cheap mofo, but the money I'm using is actually mine)Anyways, she told me to "shop around for cheaper ones," so I tried, but they all end up being in the thousands price range..Here's two I found that might be decently priced for what's in 'em? I dunno.http://cgi.ebay.com/Core-I7-Gaming-Performance-Computer-ATI-5770-6GB-/290380401076?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item439c0549b4http://www.performancepersonalcomputers.com/performance-computer.htmlYa'll are better at this shit than I am, so I'm hopin' ya can... help? Suggest anything better for less, or more?I have $1,500 to work with, plus a little extra. The specs I'm out for are:i7 Core@3.0-4.0Ghz. (950 - 860?), if not that, then an high-end i5. Lol(at least) 6GB RAM DDR3 (or whatever i7 cores take)I'm lookin' to have a dual gfx card (with my HD Radeon 5770, so anything similar to it.).Full- to mid-tower case. (whatever is needed, I guess.)500GB to 1TB Hard Drive. (I have a 500GB one already, but still )Windows 7 64-bit already installed, or any of the windows OS's.New keyboard, and new monitor. (Yay to those who hate my noisy keyboard!)Any suggestions will be widely appreciated.-Flawlesss
Dogger
You can get what you are looking for at that price. However, i wouldn't bother with dual cards personally. 1GB cards play most games at max settings. You can save a couple hundred dollars there. As long as the motherboard has room for expansion of another card down the line, you'll be good to go. Since you aren't building it yourself, check out digitalstormonline.com .. great site to build your PC on. Everything you get has a full 3 year warranty. Euth and I have PC's built by them. ThaKilla
I agree D-Dog. No need for dual GFx, I'm just stupid... Well actually IMO it's worth it but you can get better w/out dual...This may look noob, but I think it's a good bang for the buck.. Pre-built computers...http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668774.php Edited February 13, 2011 by ThaKilla

Flawless
Yeah, i checked out Digital Storm from Dogger's link. It is a pretty cool config-site. I actually made myself a computer, but that was after I'd already figured what to get.Killa, that's a good computer, but like I said, I've got it all down.Crazed helped find me the parts and what not. I'm keeping my Hard Drives and my graphics card. But, I might buy a 1TB Hard Drive later on. Just because one of the Hard Drives I have now keeps makin' clicky-ish noises when I access them. Lol.Anyways, I'll be buying all the shit in a week or two. Yay!
