Jahova
im just curious, but how hard is it to upgrade a laptop? like I wanna get a better graphics card, and also a faster processor, so is it like a desktop to change or is it different? ive never had a laptop so im just not sure how I would upgrade it haha
SN3AK
Usually the answer is you can't. You can upgrade RAM and hard drive fairly easily. CPU and GPU are a whole 'nother story.
Jahova
hmm so how would i go about changing one in a laptop? take it to a computer store or something?
SN3AK
I honestly have no idea. I looked into building a laptop from scratch years ago when 64 bit was new, it was possible but the selection of parts was extremely limited and usually pretty crappy. I have no idea what it's like to build one today, I'm assuming not too much different. Maybe somebody else knows more about building laptops? Dogger
take a dxdiag and post it here. Let's see what you got first: Go to start>runType dxdiag in the run box and click on ok Once the directX Diagnostics box opens, towards the bottom it will give you an option to 'save all information' - save the text file to somewhere like your desktop. Open the text file and copy it into a reply to this thread so we can see what you are working with.
