TopRope Posted July 12, 2008 Report Share Posted July 12, 2008 First off is it a usb headset or old school 2.5 mm.If it is usb they have there own settings. They are essentially sound card with speakers and a mic. I can work with ya to fix it. Usb is the kind of headset I have.If it is a 2.5 mm plug headset the most common problems people have is either not having it muted or not having mic boost turned on.It does not sound logical but you need to have your mic muted in your sound setting in windows.
